Olivia herneddo is an interdisciplinary artist, performer and CREATIVE CODER.
Computer-driven technologies and non-traditional collaborators, from chatbots to very young children, enable her to share fantastic worlds and build stories. In 2022, Olivia directed, designed and performed in Hello, World!, an immersive performance for very young children featuring 360 projection and VR scenic design, an excerpt of which was performed at The National Sawdust in Brooklyn, NYC. Olivia holds an MFA in Interdisciplinary Digital Media & Performance from Arizona State University, following her BFA in Expanded Media from the University of Kansas and BA in Political Science and International Studies from Baker University. She is a trained ASU Gammage Teaching Artist and an instructor of record for ASU’s Herberger Institute for Design & the Arts, in addition to serving as Lead Experience Designer at ASU’s Enterprise Technology where she crafts unforgettable experiences that seamlessly blend innovation, imagination and technology.
Olivia resides in Arizona with her partner and her young daughter, where adventure readily finds them.
